For discussion: What are you working on right now?

What project(s) is/are you working on right now? Are they going well? Have you run into any difficulties? Solved any problems? Learned something new?

I'm embroidering an Elizabethan coif, slowly working on an Eleanora of Toledo sottana (it will be my first hand-sewn 16th century, and possibly my first hand-sewn anything), and researching men's Viking Rus clothing. Plus I have this shirt in pieces that I'm supposed to be remaking so it's actually wearable. I really should finish that.

...yes, I have Too Many Projects.

Strangely enough, I'm working on research for female Viking Rus clothing. Any suggestions (and yes, I've mined the nets for it) would be great!

I mean, I see a lot of the clothing and I think, 'Hmm, that would work probably!' but then they don't give any information on it - or when I do find information, it's all in German or Swedish or even Finnish. Russian I could handle - yay for having a husband who speaks it!

Aiie. Well, I really know nothing about Viking at all--this is my first foray into it--so other than possibly Female Rus Costume (which looks...more Rus, less Viking?), I got nothing.

I do have a bunch of photos of Rus artifacts up on Flickr, so Rus jewelry I do have:

I'm more of a Varangian Rus anyway, but ooo shinies! Rus is not a very well documented period, sadly. We need more Rus! And Varangians!
